Imsa Records & Manturano

Imsa Records and its predecessor Manturano were labels founded by entrepreneur Pablo Manturano Mattos in the late 1960s in Lima. The label had a strong impact on northern Peru due to its production of waltzes and pasillos and collaborations with artists in Ecuador. This important catalog includes styles ranging from tropical cumbia to folklore, waltzes, and pasillos. Imsa Records was the incubator and discovering label for one of the most iconic Amazonian cumbia bands: Juaneco y Su Combo.
